Description
The operative section of the facade was outfitted with a vertical sheathing of untreated wood (western red cedar). The sheathing in the vicinity of the dining room opens up into a lamellar structure. The lamellae oriented at right angles to the facade serve as sun protectors and conceal the ventilation openings behind it. The facade elements are mounted directly onto the roof structure steel supports fixed in their holders, so the need for a secondary system is dispensed with.
