Description
The museum building commemorates the legendary Battle of Alésia in the French region of Burgundy.
The interpretation centre presents itself as a large round building with a diameter of 52 meters amidst towering trees. The design from architect Bernard Tschumi features a cylindrical building with a wooden facade that signifies the Roman fortress of that period.
