Not all that long ago, multi-storey timber dwellings located in densely populated urban areas would have been unthinkable. Especially joint builders are convinced about the living quality associated with timber dwellings and recognize the structure’s energy-related properties, including its CO2 footprint, as providing clear advantages over common solid building structures. The breakthrough, particularly in Berlin, the „City of Stone“, has been achieved.
