Description
The day-care centre was built into a slope so that both levels provide direct access to the park. The upper level has been designed completely with timber construction. The passive house quality of the components ensure a high degree of both thermal protection and airtightness of the building envelope. A protruding upper storey and projecting roof provide shade for the building, itself, while photovoltaic elements cover its electricity demands. The central ventilation system is outfitted with a heat recovery unit and two heating pumps supply energy for both heating and warm water.
